Olive Tree Study aims to provide a sound and accurate approach to our teaching. When your child enters our school he/she will begin the critical stages of building a profound foundation in the Islamic faith through exposure to Quranic, Islamic & Arabic Studies.The topics and subjects have been divided in four parts to be taught over the period of the day. Each subject is taught by specialised subject teachers. Children are assessed and put into groups according to their levels. Each class has an appropriate pace and differentiation. Pupils will progress largely according to their own ability and speed. Please note that below is only a summary of our syllabus. Full details are given to pupil once they are enrolled.
There are four lessons per day:
In between each lesson, we have short breaks including a break for light lunch and salah.

Parents are informed with reports twice a year on progress, targets, effort, homework and behavior. There will be parents meeting held throughout the year to give parents the opportunity to come in and have a one-to-one meeting with the child’s teacher. This will give parents an opportunity to receive feedback regarding the pupils’ progress. We will also send progress reports during the year.
Homework diaries are an integral part of our teaching and learning strategy. As usual it is used to set and record weekly homework. Most importantly it is a means of regular communication between teachers and parents in regards to the pupils’ learning and progress.
